VENZA is currently seeking a Jr. Security Analyst to add to its IT Security team.
 
ACCOUNTABILITY SUMMARY
This is a unique full-time opportunity for a professional who wants to play an important role in a growing company. Reporting to the Security Manager, the Jr. Security Analyst will help to perform audits and ensure compliance, as well as contribute to other company initiatives. This individual will support all security standards, including the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and PIN Entry Device (PED) Security Requirements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist Security Analysts in performing readiness assessments and gap analyses.
  • Help manage SAQ documentation to facilitate PCI DSS compliance for clients.
  • Maintain notes on client progression/status. 
  • Assist in process discussions and enhancements.
  • Work from the VENZA headquarters in Roswell, GA.
  • If needed, travel (including internationally) to perform onsite analysis for clients. 
EXPERIENCE
  • At least 1 year of hands-on security assessment, quality assurance or PCI DSS experience, including SAQ processes or computer network penetration testing and techniques. Strong preference will be given to individuals who have served as a QSA resource for a PCI DSS project and/or have experience evaluating various information systems, networks and/or payment applications.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., Network+, Security+, CCNA, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH) preferred.
  • Experience working with customers and managing expectations.
  • A basic knowledge of audit methodologies and security assessment tools, with a willingness to learn more advanced techniques.
  • Methodical and organized; able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience within the hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Expertise in risk assessment or GAP Analysis (with a focus on PCI DSS) preferred but not required.

COMPENSATION
  • Starting at $50,000/yr.
