Founded in 2008, VENZA is a privately held company headquartered in Roswell, GA. We are currently seeking a Contract Moodle Developer to assist our internal development team.

ACCOUNTABILITY SUMMARY
The Contract Moodle Developer will work cooperatively with our lead Developer to build plug-ins and assist in portal creation for our internal product platform. Applicants should be organized, detail-oriented and able to deliver a quality product in accordance with established deadlines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
Some tasks that may be delegated to our Contract Moodle Developer include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Becoming familiar with our current platform and what we’re trying to achieve with the next version
  • Reviewing wireframes and identifying corresponding Moodle components
  • Analyzing current needs to help identify required level of effort for project completion
  • Creating new Moodle plug-ins, as needed, to address internal requirements not currently available in Moodle
  • Providing PHP coding services as needed
EXPERIENCE  
  • Must have expert knowledge of Moodle’s current capabilities
  • Must be experienced in Moodle plugin creation
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
  • At least 2 years of verifiable PHP development experience
  • Advanced understanding of standard web programming technologies such as CSS, HTML 5.0, JQuery and JavaScript
  • Familiar with writing/ consuming Restful API’s / Moodle Web Services
  • Knowledge and understanding of MySQL including planning and development of relational database structures.
