VENZA is currently seeking a Security Analyst to add to its IT Security team.
 
ACCOUNTABILITY SUMMARY
This is a unique full-time opportunity for a security professional who wants to play an important role in a growing company. Reporting to the CIO, the Security Analyst will play a key role as a client-facing Security Analyst as well as contribute to other company initiatives. The Security Analyst will perform client audits and work closely with security vendors to resolve issues. This individual will support all security standards, including the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and PIN Entry Device (PED) Security Requirements, by contributing to various technical development projects and maintaining a robust quality assurance program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage Aperia PCI web portal to include SAQ prep, external vulnerability scans, and client importation.
  • Work directly with clients to perform readiness assessments, penetration testing and network scans.
  • Create SAQ reports and other documents to facilitate compliance for clients.
  • Provide internal expertise in maintaining VENZA security posture.  
  • Work from the VENZA headquarters in Roswell, GA.
  • Travel less than 40% to perform onsite analysis for clients.

EXPERIENCE  

  • Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on security assessment, quality assurance or PCI DSS experience, including SAQ processes or computer network penetration testing and techniques.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., Network+, Security+, CCNA, CISSP, CISA, CISM).
  • Strong skills working with customers and managing expectations.
  • Working knowledge of audit methodologies and security assessment tools.
  • Methodical and organized; able to manage multiple opportunities, projects and partners concurrently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience within the hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Strong preference will be given to individuals who have served as a QSA resource for a PCI DSS project and/or have experience scanning networks for vulnerabilities and evaluating various information systems, networks and/or payment applications.
  • Expertise in risk assessment or GAP Analysis (with a focus on PCI DSS) preferred but not required.
